The Chinese philosophy of Wu Xing expounds that everything in the universe is connected and interdependent through five elements - Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water - which are linked together and go through cycles of Generation and Destruction.

Origin represents the Generation cycle of Wu Xing, in which the five elements work together to create order and balance, and a sense of harmony and oneness. The elements interact with each other in a continuous cycle of creation, achieving unity through the harmonious balance and flow of these elements.

Each element generates the next one in a  cycle:

WOOD generates fire to burn
WOOD generates fire to burn

FIRE generates ash to nourish earth
FIRE generates ash to nourish earth

EARTH generates metal
EARTH generates metal

METAL generates and carries water
METAL generates and carries water

WATER generates and nourishes wood
WATER generates and nourishes wood

These dynamic connections lead to a sense of unity, highlighting the interdependence and interrelationship of all things, and the constant transformation and renewal of the universe.
